My brother Seth was married in June. I made this cake for his open house with the help of my very good friend the Shelley. This is my first wedding cake! It is a 3 tier white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. That buttercream, well lets just say I decided not to do a buttercream cake until I have a lot more experience. It is so hard to get it to look smooth. It doesn't help that I did it in the middle of the night and everything becomes hilarious and you seem to care less. In the end it turned out beautiful.
